Wodehouse worked quickly and effectively to ensure it was completed in time for the new Nursery intake of children at the beginning of September. This included working on weekends to meet the deadlines.

The director was always available by phone or email and often came into school to check build/furniture details so that they could be ordered quickly. He also attended progress meetings so he was aware of what we, as a school, were trying to achieve.

Overview

The project needed to be completed in 12 weeks – it was quite a tight schedule which demanded working at weekends. The building is a one off design incorporating a heart shaped nursery block with a glass frontage. The building has many features including glulam beams to the ceiling, open plan areas with partitions to separate areas, underfloor heating throughout, and a lovely soft play area to the side for the children to play on sunny days.
